Bio-Lift Radio Frequency Micro-needling for Face, Chin and Body
Micro-needling with radiofrequency is a minimally invasive treatment to reduce the appearance of wrinkles, scarring and sagging skin, offering a brighter more youthful appearance. The addition of radiofrequency energy after the minimal micro-needling procedure helps to further stimulate the body's natural collagen and healing processes revealing firmer rejuvenated skin.

Technically speaking, radiofrequency is a kind of electromagnetic spectrum. It's a high frequency and alternating electromagnetic wave. When RF acts on the skin, it will make the collagen of dermal fibers heat to 45 °C -65 °C. Then the collagen fiber will shrink in a short time which can tighten loose skin and stimulate the collagen to grow. By this, RF energy will prompt the dermis layer to be firm and elastic. That is, to tighten the skin and remove any wrinkles and fine lines.

Radiofrequency (RF) therapy, also called radiofrequency skin tightening, is a nonsurgical method of tightening your skin. The procedure involves using energy waves to heat the deep layer of your skin known as your dermis. This heat stimulates the production of collagen.
Collagen is the most common protein in your body. It creates the framework of your skin and gives your skin its firmness. As you age, your cells produce less collagen, which leads to sagging skin and wrinkles. Skin laxity occurs around age 35 to 40 when the quantity and quality of your collagen begins to decline. Starting in your mid twenties with non-invasive skin treatments help to build the collagen and reduce fatty jowls.
RF therapy has been used since 2001 to fight against sagging skin and signs of aging. RF treatment usually require multiple sessions to see results. Whether you get one treatment or several, results are only slightly noticeable right away, and typically takes a 4- 12 week program with a window of 4 months to take full effect of fat lose and skin tightening, just about the same amount of time as surgery without the pain.
A published study in 2011 concluded that radiofrequency is an effective way to reduce facial wrinkles. This study was significantly limited by its sample size (only 6 participants), but the results were promising.

The alternatives to nonsurgical skin tightening are much more invasive procedures. Facelifts and tummy tucks do provide dramatic results, but they require extensive recovery time.
Surgical alternatives also carry different risks. Nonsurgical methods of skin tightening don’t require any downtime, but surgery requires significant recovery time. Nonsurgical methods also carry no risk of infection, whereas infections and complications are a possibility after surgery.
Another alternative for your midsection is liposuction. Liposuction is technically a type of surgery, but it generally has less risks than a tummy tuck. Liposuction can flatten your tummy, but it can also make your skin look wavy or saggy in the areas where fat was removed, so then you will need a Mommy Make Over.
